SoundPressor support Reason 4.0 so I cannot use my own files. They won't work. I don't know what to do and I have an MBP. Help.

I bought a copy of Reason 4.0 but my computer won't run it. It says I have to put the audio cd in the drive but that's not true. I got this problem in iTunes and it won't run either. This is really frustrating because I bought this software just so I could have the dvds. I'm not a fan of digital software so the cd's are necessary.

I have never had a problem with Reason 4.0 until recently. It would say "Reason can only be installed on CD or DVD media." I have tried to use the audio CD for my computer, but it won't read it. I have an HP G6 computer running Windows 10. I tried to install Reason using a USB flash drive, but it said it wouldn't let me do that. Please help. I need this software desperately.

It is no longer necessary to run Reason on a USB-drive. You can simply import any.Reason project in the Reason folder of your hard-drive. The installation creates a ReWire-object (folder) called'reason' on your hard-drive. A version of ReWire is already installed by macOS if you've installed Reason from the Mac-App-Store (requires macOS 10.15+).
If your version of Reason is older than 4.0 then the'reason' folder doesn't already exist.
Then simply use ReWire to import your project, keep the import settings, and you're good to go.
If you want to install a Reason version that requires the.Reason files to be present on a DVD/USB-drive then that's a different story.
Reason does support virtual drives. You can create a 'virtual drive' by simply dragging ReWire objects from your hard-drive to your Finder window.

I think I solved it. Not sure why, but there is a way to install Reason 4 without the CD or DVD.
I figured out that there is a folder on your desktop called'reason'. It was created when you installed reason 4.1. I be359ba680
